Let’s review. Homophones
are words that are spelled and pronounced the same as other words. Now let’s
discuss homophones. Words like this make learning English difficult for
non-English Speakers, especially since English is phonetically learned.
However there are exceptions, and these words are
the exception to the rules. For example, in phonetics, words are sounded out by
syllables. Native English speakers simply know these
words are different when they see them from familiarity and repetition. Let’s
do the following exercises together.

hear the difference phonetically.
